OfficeRnD Workplace Work Integrates with Microsoft Teams

We built the OfficeRnD Workplace Work Microsoft Teams integration to streamline setup and allow employees to book rooms and desks without logging into another program. Our seamless connection with Microsoft Teams, Outlook, and Active Directory creates a simple onboarding process for employees and administrators alike. 

Convincing employees to use another software system to interact with the office is no easy task. Today’s knowledge workers use a variety of software platforms to get work done; new software can get lost in the shuffle, and employee adoption can be difficult.

Simple desk booking and room scheduling inside Microsoft Teams

Employees can use Microsoft Teams integration to book rooms and desks in their Teams application. An extra tab will appear inside Teams that employees can click on to interact with and make bookings in their office.

Within OfficeRnD Workplace, employees are presented with a visual floor plan of their office that they can use to pan and zoom to find the exact space where they would like to work. Employees can easily see all past and upcoming office bookings to better plan their schedules.

See who’s in the office and manage bookings

Employees can also use the Teams integration to see who has booked spaces in the office on certain days. They can easily search by name to see where their colleague is sitting so that they can book a desk close to them. This feature will help teams easily book their return to the office and feel confident about who they are sitting near.

Furthermore, employees can manage their own or teams’ schedules within Teams, place a delegated booking for a day, or make it recurring – for example, every Wednesday.

Authenticate and onboard employees quickly

Our Hybrid Work Microsoft Teams integration is designed to make it easy for employees to connect with Active Directory. Once enabled, employees can authenticate and log in quickly to start booking desks. Employees can access OfficeRnD Workplace through the Teams desktop application, web, or mobile.

This integration will simplify the hybrid onboarding process and increase employee adoption.

Receive notifications and take action directly in Microsoft Teams

Using Microsoft Teams with OfficeRnD Workplace, your employees will get all important notifications directly from Teams.

• When a new visitor arrives, the Visitor Hub will notify the employee expecting guests directly in Microsoft Teams.
• If you require check-ins, the Desk booking system will notify all employees who need to check in for their bookings.
