The Best of 2024: OfficeRnD’s Year in Review

2024 was a very eventful year, wasn’t it?

Some may argue that it was too eventful. We live in arguably the most exciting times from a technological point of view, thanks to the advancement in AI. Isn’t it funny that we have cracked the code of artificial intelligence yet still can’t figure out the most effective way for humans to work? Most companies are still going back and forth with their return-to-office mandates with little success.

At OfficeRnD, we cracked the code a while ago and believe that flexible working models are the key to fostering human intelligence, productivity, and efficiency. We’re collaborative creatures and are most effective when working together in an environment that supports focus and effective communication.

2024 was another excellent year for us to advance our vision. Let’s examine how we helped coworking spaces and modern companies offer the best possible workplace environments for humans.

Coworking Efficiency and Hospitality

We’ve been working hard to help our coworking space partners be as efficient as possible. 2024 was an exciting year on that front. We introduced multiple new integrations, dashboards, flows, and automation to help you run a coworking space that is as efficient as possible.

2024 was also a groundbreaking year for us. OfficeRnD Flex became a true Multi-product Platform. Coworking space operators deserve something better than a Swiss army knife type of software.

That’s why we decided to develop OfficeRnD Flex as a multi-product platform that consists of unique products solving the biggest problems of running coworking spaces in the best possible way.

We introduced Visitor Hub – a complete, full-featured, modern visitor experience platform for Coworking and Flex space operators. This is just the first step. A few exciting new products are coming and will be released soon. Check our roadmap here.

Visitor Hub is available as a distinct product designed to integrate seamlessly with OfficeRnD Flex.

2. Smarter, Faster, More Accurate Dashboards

The new Enhanced dashboards in Data Hub offer improved visualizations and more significant data accuracy, making decision-making more precise.

Advanced drill-through capabilities allow you to explore data in greater depth, while new features enable reporting on draft locations and forecasting up to 36 months. Analyze key metrics like revenue, finance, occupancy, and retention quickly and confidently.

3. New Integrations with isofy and Avigilon Alta (OpenPath)

With the launch of the Avigilon Alta access integration, managing workspace security is now easier and more flexible.

Automate access control by syncing user profiles and permissions, defining access based on memberships, assignments, or bookings, and enabling mobile entry via the branded app. Seamlessly manage groups in OfficeRnD and enjoy the benefits of this cloud-native, scalable solution.

We also announced an integration with isofy. isofy is a world-class network management platform compatible with the most common enterprise networking equipment. Using the isofy integration, you’ll be able to:

• Manage everything from workspace to network monitoring in one platform, simplifying operations and freeing time to focus on your coworking community.
• Deliver seamless, secure internet access with personalized settings, minimizing tech issues and enhancing the overall member experience.
• Quickly scale your operations across multiple locations with flexible features, real-time workspace activity, and network performance monitoring.

A 12-point Rundown of 2024 Flex Highlights

1. We started the year in January by introducing Multi-vendor mobile door access.
2. In February, we released new resources import & export improvements and Stripe & Cash App Support.
3. March saw the launch of the OfficeRnD Data Hub.
4. In April, we enhanced significantly our Stripe 2.0 integration.
5. In May, we launched Dynamic Exchange Rates to empower operators to tailor billing pricing dynamically.
6. In June, we enabled admins to Customize business hours and workdays for each location.
7. In July, we shipped the Enhanced invoice transparency with the allocations feature and the new Email Reminders and Email Activity features to help you streamline your email activity.
8. In August, the new dashboards in Data Hub improved performance, provided greater flexibility and advanced analytics, and introduced the new feedback portal in OfficeRnD Flex.
9. In September, we announced the ability for admins and members to use eSign links from the Contract Details page whenever they need to sign a contract.
10. In October, we released the exciting OfficeRnD Visitor Hub and Custom Fields and Flows. We also announced the new Admin Portal homepage and our integration with Ezeep Blue.
11. This November, we hosted our FlexWorld 2024: Fall Edition event and released Host removal in visitor flows, Seamless event management, and Partial payment receipts. We also introduced our Integration with isofy for seamless coworking WiFi management.
12. In December, we announced massive updates to Data Hub, including Dashboard consolidation and advanced drill-through capabilities.

1. Every Guest is a VIP with a Better Visitor Experience

This year, we launched OfficeRnD Visitor Hub to transform how you manage guests and deliveries.

With features like pre-registration, one-click check-ins, instant host notifications, and customizable security settings, the Visitor Hub streamlines visitor sign-ins while enhancing workplace safety. Boost security with Custom fields, Flows, and Documents. Say goodbye to paper logs and hello to a professional, all-in-one visitor management system!

2. Smarter Workplace Insights for Better Decisions

This year, we unveiled OfficeRnD Data Hub – a powerful analytics platform powered by Google Looker.

With lightning-fast performance, refreshed data every two hours, and enhanced filtering, workspace metrics can now be easily interpreted. You can also export data in PDF or CSV, schedule reports, and set automated alerts. The Data Hub empowers admins with customizable dashboards for genuinely data-driven decisions.

3. Elevate Collaboration with Meeting Room Service Requests

At the beginning of the year, we introduced Meeting Room Service Requests, transforming how meetings are organized.

Now, users can request catering, extra equipment, or room setups seamlessly when booking a meeting space. Admins gain centralized management, full visibility, and customizable options to tailor services per location or team. This feature saves time, enhances collaboration, and ensures every meeting is perfectly prepared for success.

4. Simplify Team Coordination with Bulk Booking

With the new Bulk Booking feature, team collaboration is now more streamlined than ever.

Admins and team leads can reserve desks for up to 25 users at a time or other resources (except meeting rooms), saving valuable time. This functionality fosters teamwork by seating colleagues, enhancing office space utilization, and boosting team satisfaction. Bulk Booking is the perfect solution for a more connected and productive workplace!

5. Streamline Guest Experiences with Visitor Bookings

The new Visitor Bookings feature allows you to reserve your guests’ desks and other resources (excluding meeting rooms), ensuring a smooth and hassle-free visit.

Available via the Web Portal, MS Teams, and the OfficeRnD Chrome Extension for Google Calendar, this feature offers configuration flexibility and automatic pre-registration through the Visitor Hub. Visitor Bookings is the perfect solution for simplifying planning and enhancing guest satisfaction.

Looking Ahead to Workplace Management in 2025!

2025 will be a transformative year for OfficeRnD, and we can’t wait to share what’s next!

First, we’re exploring an exciting integration with Cisco Meraki to automate workplace presence and utilization tracking, making office attendance seamless for employees and admins.

Later in the year, we’ll introduce tools to gather and analyze employee satisfaction, empowering organizations to create more engaging and productive workplaces.
